Lot 44 of 399: A scarce 10-bore flintlock Heavy Dragoon pistol of Waterloo interest, 9inch barrel, border engraved bevelled lock stamped with a Crown over GR and TOWER across the tail, full stocked with regulation brass mounts, the trigger guard marked 2=R=NB=DS over C over 54, steel ramrod. The Royal North British Dragoons or Scots Greys were most famed for their charge at Waterloo as depicted by Lady Butler in her famous painting Scotland Forever and the ensuing capture of the Eagle of the 45th by Sergeant
