A 19TH CENTURY SILVER DECORATED PUNJABI SIKH TULWAR, 72.5cm curved damascus blade struck with a mark, characteristic hilt profusely decorated with foliage and flower heads in silver, the scrolling knuckle guard and dished disc pommel decorated to match, some losses, domed foliate boss with ovoid terminal, contained in its red velvet wrapped wooden scabbard. Break in scabbard and covering just above the chape, slight movement to pommel.
