Lot 404 of 530: A 9TH LANCER'S OFFICER'S MAMELUKE BY PROSSER, 80.5cm curved clipped back blade, double edge at the tip, etched with crowned crossed lances over IX over LANCERS, to either side, further etched with a maker's panel to either side PROSSER No. 9 Charing Cross LONDON, regulation gilt hilt, riveted two-piece ivory grips, contained in its stippled gilt mounted red velvet wrapped wooden scabbard with woven silver seam. Minor grey staining, one grip scale cracked.
