Lot 364 of 459: OF INDIAN ARMY INTEREST: A GEORGIAN CAVALRY OFFICER'S SWORD WITH TROPHY BLADE BY BRUNN, 77cm sharply curved multi fullered clipped back blade, probably watered steel, copper gilt stirrup hilt, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its copper gilt mounted leather scabbard, the upper mount with maker's panel for SAMUEL BRUNN. This characteristically Indian sword blade originated from a captured tulwar or shamshir.
