A FINE CASED PAIR OF 54-BORE SILVER MOUNTED PERCUSSION BOXLOCK POCKET PISTOLS BY SMITH OF LONDON, 1.5inch turn-off barrels engraved at the muzzles and breeches, border and scroll engraved rounded actions signed Smith, London, folding triggers, sliding safeties, the finely chequered bulbous wooden butts with vacant white metal shield-shaped escutcheons with hallmarked silver butt caps decorated with Green Man masks, contained in their blue baize lined mahogany case with turned bone cap pot, powder flask, bullet mould and nipple wrench. Both guns retain good traces of original case colour hardening.
