AN 18TH CENTURY INDIAN FIRANGI, 99cm broad sword blade, probably of Italian manufacture being incised with typical geometric designs comprising orbs with crosses and the name DE PEDRO LOPACO, characteristic half bowl guard with reeded knuckle bow, the whole decorated with a zig-zag geometric design and retaining traces of gold inlays, the disc-shaped pommel decorated to match, contained in its leather wrapped wooden scabbard.
