Lot 230 of 442: Of Gallipoli interest: an Officer's Bear Skin to Captain (Major) H Bishop Lancashire Fusiliers, Major H. Bishop, Battalion Commanding Officer, recommended the six Victoria Crosses that the British Press called the "six VCs before Breakfast" during the W beach landings at Gallipoli, bear skin with trade label and owner's inked details to the lining, contained in its original storage tin with brass name plate.
